The O'Quinn Schools of Porter-Gaud serve a 600 preschool students from age two through kindergarten on two campuses (Mount Pleasant & James Island). O'Quinn is seeking dedicated Substitute Teachers to join our team and support our educational programs. As a Substitute Teacher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.

Duties include:

  • Implementing lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher.
  • Maintaining a safe and positive classroom environment
  • Managing student behavior
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff members
Qualifications include:
  • Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and parents
  • Knowledge of behavior management techniques
  • Ability to adapt to various classroom environments and teaching styles
